Baltic Cup (also known locally as Balti turniir, Baltijas kauss and Baltijos taurė) - an international football tournament for the Baltic national teams, traditionally featuring Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, with a guest team invited when needed to complete a knockout bracket. Regulations: in the current format the competition is played as a single-match knockout with two semi-finals, a third-place match and a final, and each match consists of two 45-minute halves. If the score is level after 90 minutes, the winner is decided by a penalty shoot-out with no extra time. The tournament was founded in 1928 and has typically been staged biennially since 2008.
