

Club World Cup (FIFA) (FIFA Club World Cup) - an international club tournament organised by FIFA, in the expanded format it is played as a 32-club competition with confederation quotas, including 12 places for UEFA, 6 for CONMEBOL, 4 each for AFC, CAF and CONCACAF, 1 for OFC and 1 place for a club from the host association. Regulations: 32 clubs are drawn into 8 groups of 4 teams, each group is played as a single round-robin, 3 points are awarded for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, the top two teams in each group advance to the round of 16, then a single-match knockout is played through to the final, and there is no third-place match. If teams are level on points in a group, positions are determined in order by head-to-head points among the tied teams, head-to-head goal difference and head-to-head goals scored, if still level these criteria are re-applied only to the teams that remain tied, then overall goal difference and overall goals scored in all group matches, then the disciplinary ranking (yellow card - minus 1, indirect red after a second yellow - minus 3, direct red - minus 4, yellow plus direct red - minus 5), then drawing of lots.
