Intercontinental Cup (FIFA Intercontinental Cup) - FIFA’s annual club competition featuring the champions of all six confederations. Regulations: six clubs compete in five knockout matches, with an opening pathway involving the OFC champion and the AFC and CAF champions, then the CONMEBOL champion plays the CONCACAF champion in a single match at a neutral venue, the winners of those branches meet in the Challenger Cup, and the Challenger Cup winner faces the UEFA representative in the final, with FIFA determining neutral venues and the overall match schedule. If a match is level after normal time, extra time is played in two 15-minute periods, and if still level the winner is decided by kicks from the penalty mark.
