

OFC Nations Cup (OFC Men's Nations Cup) - the main international competition for the national teams of the Oceania Football Confederation, first held in 1973. Regulations: the finals are typically staged for 8 teams and may include a separate qualifying competition to determine the last finalist, the final tournament is commonly played as a group stage in two groups of four on a round-robin basis, with the top two in each group advancing to the semi-finals, followed by a third-place match and a final, and placement matches may also be played for 5th and 7th place. Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw and none for a loss, group standings are determined by points, then goal difference and goals scored, and if two or more teams are still level the tie-breakers are head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference and head-to-head goals scored, followed by a disciplinary team conduct score and drawing of lots. Matches are 90 minutes, in the semi-finals and final extra time is played if level and, if still level, a penalty shoot-out decides the winner, while in other knockout or placement matches no extra time is played and a penalty shoot-out is used if the score is level.
