Euro U19 (UEFA European Under-19 Championship) - a European national-team youth competition that includes qualifying and a final tournament. Regulations: the qualifying competition is played as single round-robin mini-tournaments, split into Leagues A and B, with rounds 1 and 2 followed by round 3 in League A only, and the round 3 group winners qualify for the final tournament, while the host nation is guaranteed a finals place but still takes part in qualifying rounds 1 and 2. The final tournament features 8 teams drawn into two groups of four, each team plays the others once, with 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, and the group winners and runners-up reach the semi-finals. If teams are level on points in a group, tie-breakers are applied in order as head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference and head-to-head goals, then overall goal difference, overall goals scored, disciplinary points, and then the relevant qualifying league ranking, and if two teams are level on points and have scored and conceded the same number of goals and meet in the last group match, their positions are decided by a penalty shoot-out provided no other team finishes level on points. The semi-finals and final are single-leg, with semi-finals set as Group A winner vs Group B runner-up and Group B winner vs Group A runner-up, and if scores are level in a semi-final or the final extra time is played and, if needed, the winner is decided by penalties.
