The Belgian Pro League, also known as the Jupiler League, is the top division of football clubs in Belgium. Founded in 1895, the league has 18 teams that compete for the title during a season that runs from August to May.

The most successful clubs in the history of the Pro League are Anderlecht, Club Brugge and Standard Liege. Anderlecht hold the record for most league titles, having won the league 34 times. Club Brugge has 18 titles, including the 2023/2024 season. Standard Liege have won the league 10 times.

In the 2023/2024 season, Club Brugge managed to win the league title under coach Carl Hoefkens. Key players such as Hans Vanaken and Noah Lang played important roles in the team's success. Vanaken, in particular, was the team’s top scorer with 17 league goals.

Anderlecht finished second in the 2023/2024 season under coach Brian Riemer. The team showed strong results thanks to the excellent play of players such as Jari Vershaeren, who became the club’s top assist provider.

Standard Liege finished the season in third place. The team under Ronny Deila continues to be among the leaders of Belgian football. Key players such as Nicolas Raskin and Sels Lois have made significant contributions to the club’s achievements.

One of the most exciting events in Belgian football are the derbies, especially the Belgian Classico between Anderlecht and Club Brugge. These matches attract a lot of attention from fans and often determine the outcome of the title race.

Erwin Vandenbergh is one of the most outstanding goalscorers in the history of the Pro League, having scored 255 goals in his career. In recent years, players such as Duvan Zapata and Wissam Ben Yedder have also made their mark on Belgian football.

The Pro League is known for its young talent. Many players, such as Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, began their careers in Belgium before moving to top clubs in Europe. De Bruyne currently plays for Manchester City, while Lukaku plays for Inter in Serie A.

Belgian clubs continue to show consistent results on the international stage. Club Brugge and Anderlecht regularly participate in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, showing high results and competitiveness.

The Pro League is also actively developing football infrastructure. Modern stadiums such as the Jan Breydel Stadium in Bruges and the Lotto Park in Brussels provide excellent conditions for matches and attract fans from all over the country.
