The Belgian Pro League, also known as the Jupiler League, is the top division of football clubs in Belgium. Founded in 1895, the league has 18 teams that compete for the title during a season that runs from August to May.
The most successful clubs in the history of the Pro League are Anderlecht, Club Brugge and Standard Liege. Anderlecht hold the record for most league titles, having won the league 34 times. Club Brugge has 18 titles, including the 2023/2024 season. Standard Liege have won the league 10 times.
In the 2023/2024 season, Club Brugge managed to win the league title under coach Carl Hoefkens. Key players such as Hans Vanaken and Noah Lang played important roles in the team's success. Vanaken, in particular, was the team’s top scorer with 17 league goals.
Anderlecht finished second in the 2023/2024 season under coach Brian Riemer. The team showed strong results thanks to the excellent play of players such as Jari Vershaeren, who became the club’s top assist provider.
