Süper Lig 2024/2025, all matches

Founded in 1959, the Turkish Super League is the top division of Turkish football clubs. The league includes 20 teams that compete for the title during a season that runs from August to May.

Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas are the three most successful clubs in the history of the Super League. Galatasaray holds the record for most titles, winning the league 23 times. Fenerbahce has won 19 titles and Besiktas 16. Galatasaray won the title again in the 2023/2024 season, confirming their dominance in Turkish football.

Galatasaray, under the guidance of Okan Buruk, showed consistency throughout the 2023/2024 season. The team's leading players, such as Mauro Icardi and Kerem Akturkoglu, have made significant contributions to the club's success. Icardi was the team's top scorer with 23 league goals.

Fenerbahce remains Galatasaray's main rival. The team finished second in the 2023/2024 season, showing strong results under the guidance of Jorge Jesus. Fenerbahce's leading player, Enner Valencia, was one of the league's top scorers with 20 goals.

Besiktas finished the 2023/2024 season in third place, confirming its status as one of Turkey's leading clubs. Under the guidance of Şenol Güneş, the team showed good performances, and key players such as Seyhan Güven and Cenk Tosun made significant contributions to the club's achievements.

The Turkish Super League is known for its intense derbies, especially between Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas. These matches attract huge crowds and often decide the title. The “Intercontinental Derby” between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce is one of the most heated rivalries in world football.

One of the most outstanding goalscorers in the history of the Super League is Hakan Sukur, who has scored 249 goals in his career. In recent years, players such as Burak Yilmaz and Bafétimbi Gomis have also made their mark on Turkish football.

Many young talents begin their careers in the Super League before moving on to top clubs in Europe. For example, Caglar Soyuncu, who plays for Leicester City in the English Premier League, began his career with Altinordu in Turkey.
