UEFA Europa Conference League 2024/2025, all matches

The UEFA Europa Conference League is the latest European club football competition, introduced for the 2021/2022 season. It was created to provide more clubs from different European countries with the opportunity to compete in international competitions and showcase their skills on a big stage.

The competition is made up of teams that have qualified through their domestic leagues but are not included in the Champions League and Europa League. The structure of the competition is similar to the Europa League, with a group stage of 32 teams divided into 8 groups of 4 teams. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stages, starting from the round of 16.

One of the most memorable moments of the first season was the success of Roma, under the management of José Mourinho, who became winners of the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League tournament. This success underlined the importance of the competition as a platform for clubs looking to establish themselves on the European stage.

The exciting matches of the tournament are often characterized by high tension and unexpected results, making the competition especially interesting for fans. For example, the team Bodø/Glimt was able to prove itself by reaching the knockout stage and demonstrating a high level of play.

The Conference League also becomes an arena for individual achievements of players. The tournament highlights both experienced players and new faces demonstrating their abilities on the international stage. Examples of outstanding performances include players who are at the top of the scorers’ list, such as Roma forward Tami Abraham, who scored key goals in his team’s victory.

It is interesting to note that the winner of the Conference League automatically qualifies for the group stage of the Europa League next season, which adds an additional incentive for teams. This not only increases the importance of the tournament, but also raises the stakes for the participating teams aiming for promotion to a higher level of European competition.
